Susan is the franchise owner and leads a wonderful team of Travel Associates listed below. As a veteran of the travel and entertainment industry for over 40 years and an employee of American Express for 22 years, Susan brings a wealth of experience, professionalism and knowledge of American Express with her into this incredible company. She has a passion for travel and for a good travel bargain. Her intention is to provide the highest level of personal service while working tirelessly to find the right trip at the right price for her customers.

Henry Tietz

Cap’n Henry is a San Diego native. Growing up in San Diego, he was lucky enough to travel from an early age. Always dreaming of far-off lands, he had a deep desire for seeing the world, and exploring what it has to offer curious travelers. Since San Diego is a port city, there are many amazing beaches and places along the coastline. Spending time on the sand and in the water, is one of his great passions. “Being on the water soothes my soul, and makes me feel at home.”

In 2020, Cap’n Dave approached me and asked if I would help him with a project he was
working on. I agreed, and we started building Bear Voyages. Dave already had the name picked out and ready to go. What we needed was an audience. Dave wanted to take a group of BEARS to Spain, and had his eyes set on many other far-off destinations. And so it began… Spain in 2022, then on to Greece in 2023, as well as the Caribbean, the same year.

With the loss of Cap’n Dave in June of 2024, Cap’n Henry has vowed to keep Cap’n Dave’s dream alive. Always looking for a new adventure, Henry will keep BEAR VOYAGES sailing.

It’s all in the details for Jill! She has been planning destination vacations and wedding trips for over a decade and being a travel planning specialist is second nature for her. She won’t stop until the customer is completely WOWED with their entire experience! By working in professional outside sales in San Francisco for the past 16 years, Jill has shown just how much she really succeeds in her relationships with her customers and genuinely enjoys getting them the best possible deal for their vacation of their dreams.
